I decided we should just start a single topic to post video games sales in, especially considering then number that have been popping up lately (plus, Christmas). So post any super cool deals you find here, no matter where they're from, should you feel so inclined.

If a deal doesn't exist anymore, just check the date of the post, and don't expect any older deals to still exist (You snooze, you lose).

Another Humble Indie Bundle came out ... it's pretty much the only thing that has convinced me to buy games (mostly for the Linux support) ... they just do everything so right: DRM-free, cross-platform, pay-what-you-want with full control over where the money goes (including charity).

http://www.humblebundle.com/

Also if it's anything like the first bundle they'll likely add in more things as they get more sales. After a while another game got added to the bundle and almost all the devs released the source code for their games, it was pretty awesome.

That's actually really super cool. And with Braid and Osmos on there, it's worth most any price. I haven't heard of the other three games, though.

You haven't heard of Machinarium?

You should get that bundle just for that game. It's awesome. I think you'd very much enjoy it.

Thanks for linking that, Hyper. I've mostly played console and handheld games lately, so I hadn't checked Steam for quite a while.

I finally bought Mass Effect 2, and I'm considering Bully (super cheap) and Dragon Age.

Bully is pretty fun. I was a bit disappointed in how limited it was at times though.

But GTA-style gameplay in the school yard? Yesss.

I really wish they'd make a sequel to it. But I guess GTA is too important...and LA Noire, which I'm so excited for.

D'oh! I had Bully in my cart and was going to buy it just now, but I had forgotten that the sales end at noon each day...
It's still not that expensive as is, but it only caught my eye because it was about $3 this morning. =/

EDIT: Whatever, I went ahead and got Bully anyway. And Bioshock.

Sid Meier's Pirates is on sale for $2.50 at Gamer's Gate -- I paid about $10 for it a couple of months ago, durr. http://www.gamersgat...-meiers-pirates

I'm also currently hunting for a cheap download for Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic, LOOM, or Planescape Torment.

Kotor BAM

Lowercase planscape bam Not super cheap, really, but probably the best place to watch for it to go on sale.

Plus, KOTOR is on sale like every other month on steam. don't be surprised to find it for $2.50 or so.
