Alright, listen up peoples. The name of the game is to post the best Japanese songs/music around. These'll chiefly be in the form of J-pop and anime songs.
You post 'em. We rate 'em. The best of the best get linked right here in the OP. To be chosen, the song/music must get Loved no less than 3 or 4 times, depending on how many people actually post and peruse here. So get cracking and link your fav's!
To vote, simply post with love it or hate it next to the song's name. Or put 'em in an easy read list, like so.
Love It
Song 1
Song 3
Song 4
Hate It
Song 2
Song 5

Ash Like Snow- The Brilliant Green One of Gundam 00's OP's.
I'm also thinking we can split these into categories if need be. Dance, Slow/Love/sad songs, Rock, Metal, etc.
Eternal Snow- from Full Moon Wo Sagashite is sad...
Yatta! funny/silly/joke
Sora- Escaflowne slow/vocal
Lion- Macross Frontier song from the last episode.
Emu: For My Dear- Gackt
Deep River- Utada Hikaru
Like I said, these are just a few. I'll let you digest these for now. =P

Boku-tachi no Yukue <Our Whereabouts> (Also one of the OP themes from Gundam SEED Destiny, which is how I found out about her.)
Aozora no Namida <Tears of the Blue Sky>
Merodii <Melody>
Yakusoku <Promise> (Can't find it on YouTube; may Google it later)
Mou Hitotsu no Yoake <Another Daybreak>
Ayumi Hamasaki (J-Pop):
A Song for XX
Boys & Girls (Also the OP theme from Come Come Ninja =D Sorry about the video; the only vid I could find of the actual music video had terrible sound quality.)
Evolution
Depend on You - Svenson & Gielen remix
Fly High - VooDoo & Serano remix
I have many more favorites, but five each should be plenty for one post.

<3's=====
Lion
Boys and Girls
Mirai no Eve
==========
The rest of them are, for the most part, really good ... but these were my favorites.
Uhh, as for more stuff to contribute ... all I really know are anime intros, but whatevs. In no particular order:
K-on! - Cagayake! Girls Best baseline in an anime song ever.
Negima! - Happy Material I blame Kenneth for this one.
Evangelion - Cruel Angel's Thesis
Stuff that doesn't really fit in or belong here:
Disgaea (the video game, not the anime) - The Invasion from Within
Elfen Lied - Lilium Only because I'm stupidly obsessed with Elfen Lied
Yeah, most of these are rather common or generic, but I loves them.

Evolution
Angel's Cruel Thesis- Who didn't love this when they watched Evangelion?! I'm meh on it now, but that's cuz I overplayed it.
Those are the ones I already know.
Imma edit and stuff when I get down to listening to the others.
In anycase, it seems Lion is our first song to join the uber list.
Edit:
Love It
Melody- =D
Lilium
Hey cy, where'd you download Ash Like Snow? I need it for my my ipod.

I only just this morning bothered to look up who sang that song. I may very well search for more of her videos on YouTube.
Forgot to mention that Aozora no Namida <Tears of the Blue Sky> was an OP theme for Blood+, which I haven't watched.
I'll comment on the songs that other people have posted once I actually listen to some of them...
EDIT: So apparently Believe was Nami Tamaki's first song, and her second song, Realize, was also used as a Gundam SEED OP. They must really like her music.

They all actually sing (And play) in the video, but the audio isn't recorded, you silly Hyperlisk.
I know that, but she just looks like she's not even TRYING to sing. It's horrible XD

I've seen some pretty terrible lip synchs, but that one looks fine to me. =/I know that, but she just looks like she's not even TRYING to sing. It's horrible XD
Besides, it would be ridiculously hard to sing properly while dancing like that, so I wouldn't expect it to look spot on anyway.
EDIT: Watching it again (now that I'm home, and my screen is larger than 2 inches), I only saw one iffy part near the beginning. The camera cuts so much you don't really get many chances to spot bad synching.
Also, Believe badly needs to be in a DDR game.

That was interesting.I hesitate to post this one (J-Rap), but for some reason I'm fascinated by the way it constantly switches between English and Japanese mid-sentence and somehow still manages to rhyme.

Soulstrike:
The Yatta video scares me... (hate)
I like Sora, but...Latin? (neutral)
I think I like Lion, but I'd have to listen to it more carefully when I'm not rushing through a few dozen songs to be sure. =p (neutral for now)
Amethyst:
Baragoku Otome is interesting, but I'm not sure whether I like it or not. Definitely different. (neutral)
Kuroi Torikago is kinda strange, but i think I like it. =p (neutral)
Truth d(''d) (love)
Hyperlisk:
First time I've heard Duty. I was going to say I didn't like it, but somehow it sounded better when I minimized the window; must be something about that picture. It's nice, though still not one of my favorite Ayu pieces. (neutral)
BLU:
It's been ages since I last heard Happy material, so that made me smile. =) (love)
Cruel Angel's Thesis is not quite as fond to me, but it still has some nostalgic value. (neutral)
Not so keen on The Invasion From Within (hate)
Lilium is nice, but...what with all the Latin songs? (neutral)
Songs I didn't mention can be considered neutral. I'll listen to the rest of Soulstrike's songs later when I have more time.
Still can't find anything for Yakusoku, so I'll probably just rip it from my CD later and attach it.
EDIT: I've also got a Nami Tamaki CD coming in the mail, so I'll post more of her songs if I find some that I particularly like.

Lia - Tori No Uta
ALI PROJECT - GOD DIVA
Aya Hirano - God Knows
The Pillows - Little Busters (I still very much enjoy The Pillows)
And I of course still love Happy Material, Real Folk Blues (literally the entire Cowboy Bebop soundtrack I love), Cruel Angels Thesis...etc (whatever I should like)
