Is anyone going to any concerts this year?
Once again, it looks like I may go see a concert, however it isn't set in stone yet.
I may go with my friends Taylor and Jordan, and hopefully Chase/BLU to go see Colin Meloy. the frontman for two of my favourite bands, Tarkio and The Decemberists, in April.
Sadly it's not a full on Decemberists gig, but at least it's something.

I AM THE HARBRINGER OF THE SPICY ROOSTER APOCALYPSE!
I AM A HYDROGEN BOMB IN A NECKTIE!
I HOLD THE FLAMES OF A THOUSAND COLLAPSED STARS!
I AM...BOBRACHA!
Strange women lying in ponds, distributing swords is no basis for a system of government. Supreme executive power, derives from a mandate from the masses!

But then, I think the 'Not paying enough attention' part is the why to that.

In fact, no Mariner's Revenge Song in general, I do believe.
You like them Kasper, or been to a show?

FReeZA - for those who don't know - is a government funded series of events that are organised by 13-25 year olds. They can be anything from concerts to fetes and are smoke/drug/alcohol free. We'll be having three concerts this year and three next year - the first early April. It's a bit hard to get famous bands in, s it'll mostly be local bands, but it'll still be fun.
We did almost get Kiss Chasey a few years ago, before they were well known, but decided against it. Silly us. -_-

Also I'm hoping to get tickets to Latitude Festival where Sigur Rós are playing along with Bill Bailey (what an awesome combination).
And just now a friend has asked if I want to go see REM and Modest Mouse play, I guess I'll have to do that.
I need to make up for missing Silver Mt. Zion play in London last month.

Me and my friends who saw the concert last night are trying to see Death Cab for Cutie/The Decemberists/Mates of State in May, and hopefully Radiohead in August. If we somehow get enough money to go to the San Fransisco festival they're playing in...we get to see Stars, Beck, Tom Petty, Wilco, Broken Social Scene, and a few others as well. So that could be very cool.

Plans is good.New Death Cab is out very soon. I haven't heard much of their stuff but I went through like a 2 month period listening to nothing but Plans.
Their new song, I Will Possess Your Heart, is my favourite song of theirs, and I have been anxious to hear their new album.

Come to think of it, this place needs a yousendit request thread.

What is this? (I'd upload it but I'm currently downloading it)
I don't know how much use the yousendit request thread would get though.
