It's that time of the week again, MPers! Time, specifically, for me to try to remember the heck we did during the past 7 days~

People have started receiving their Secret Santa gifts already, and some of us are actually being good and waiting to open them...for now.

Video games are happening, I guess.

A new video has been added to MPTV.

Member of the Week

Legacy

I dunno why, but I just kinda felt like picking Legacy this week. The guy knows what he likes when it comes to video games, and I can respect that (even if we disagree on matters of dlc). He's also one of the few members who still uploads new content to MPTV. Keep the dream alive, Leggy.

Blue PopTarts

Guys? Guys. What the heck even?

I actually did try to play this game, but once it gave me control, one path led to a "Road Closed" message, and the other led to a black screen. And I guess you play as a blue Moogle? Iono.

...Wait, is that what the title screen is supposed to be?

Poll of the Week

Consumerism is a real and present danger. Just ask the good people of WalMart. Or any retail establishment, really.

On that note, how was your Black Friday haul this year?

Entertainment of the Week

Games

World of Tanks, Pokemon ORAS demo, Bravely Default, Pokemon Y, Pokemon Omega Ruby, Minecraft: Pocket Edition, Pokemon Alpha Sapphire, Civilization: Beyond Earth, Valkyria Chronicles (maybe), Romancing SaGa 3

Movies and Television

The Dark Knight, Dear Zachary: A Letter to a Son about His Father, Vikings, Peter Pan Live (partially), Mockingjay part 1

Books

Nothing according to the topic, still working through The Fires of Heaven

Music

Pacific Rim theme (cover by Erock)

I think this is my 7th time winning the award. So I'm pretty cool with this. Seven is a lucky number after all.

Yes, I uploaded two videos to MPTV this week. The first was a baseball video, I plan on uploading more "exclusive" things in the future (I recently got a PS4, which lets me upload game footage directly!).

I also uploaded (if you click the link) the third KP movie! This one, I think, is our best work yet. I've started production/planning on KP:4 Revenge of Meow (Working Title) and hope to have it up sometime in Spring 2015.

I think you might have more Member of the Week awards than anyone else so far.

Legacy is most popular member confirmed?

I dunno. Maybe for total number of MOTWs. But what about reputation?

And then there's Bean, who is popular by being the member with the most amount of being Bean.

I dunno, reputation scores can be heavily influenced by cat gif usage.

My cat gif to rep point ratio is surprisingly low.

Congrats, Leggy. If you don't have the most MOTWs overall, you certainly do for this year! Good job on being a pretty cool guy!

I credit two of the wins to my cat KP, who has clearly swayed the people.

Congrats, Legacy!

I didn't really Black Friday this year (or any year, actually). I refused to Black Thursday (despite having the day off and only celebrating Thanksgiving till 5 or so) and then I worked all day Black Friday. I tried to check out Gamestop but their B2G1 sale was only on games under $25 and ones of the only three I wanted was over that.

The GF brought home Diablo III and a new PS3 controller for about 40 bucks total, so that was cool. And then we raided Walmart's leftover Black Friday movies and took a bunch home for cheap, so that was awesome. I'd say the biggest thing we did was actually on Cyber Monday because we got her dad a new TV.

Congrats on MOTW. Thank you for the gifts. You certainly deserve high praise this week.

And there is nothing wrong with opening a gift before the arbitrary date of a holiday I don't celebrate.
