And thank you everybody :). She is amazing.
The universe is a cruel, uncaring void. The key to being happy isn't a search for meaning. It's to just keep yourself busy with unimportant nonsense, and eventually, you'll be dead.

Also Vicious Parker, your baby is totally adorable! What a perfect little face!
I'm super jealous, I'm ready to have ours already, and I'm only 3 and a half months along. =[
Congrats though! Enjoy her and love her. <3

To Jody: GET AN EPIDURAL! Best thing ever! Made labor so much more tolerable. I was happy the rest of the way... well... until the last 30 minutes of hard labor. Then I hated everyone. Still, so worth it.
And thanks again to everyone!

My sister cheated and got a c-section. But to be fair, her little boy was too big to come out the usual way (his daddy is about 6' 4", and he'll probably be around the same eventually). To Jody: GET AN EPIDURAL! Best thing ever! Made labor so much more tolerable. I was happy the rest of the way... well... until the last 30 minutes of hard labor. Then I hated everyone. Still, so worth it.

Anyway actually the c-section sounds pretty choice to me. I don't know if I'd request it but I sure as hell wouldn't be scared of having one. My mom had my brother c-section because he was an asshole and thought he should hang out in her for an extra month past his due-date, and the drug they have to make you have contractions didn't work (he meant business), so they had to rip him out. She had me that way too, because usually it's pretty routine to just keep with c-sections if you've gotten it done this way. My mom is actually completely horrified that I'm even considering traditional birthing. She was so pleased with how her c-sections went and her recovery that she can't imagine any possible alternative to having babies.
Everyone I've talked to has a preference and think one is more disgusting, but this is what it comes down to guise (I'm not sparing the gore):
Traditional birth: You can be in there for hours with horrible cramping contractions. I've known people being in labor for 2 whole days. Sometimes something's stupid and you can't get an epidural, and then you're just completely screwed. Regular labor is do-able, obviously, because people have been doing it forever. But with the technology of today it's just unnecessary and a complete sham unless you're a weird hippie chick or whatever. THEN, once your done, your vagina is huge and gaping and uncomfortable and I've heard that walking and pooping is hard because you feel like all your frickin' guts are just going to fall out. Which sounds awful. And it's like a week of recovery, same as c-section.
C-section: They cut through your abs, which needless to say makes it hard to walk and stuff, but supposedly recover just as fast. My mom and cousin both got it done and they're really thrilled about it. I think both sound completely unappetizing. Like, they both seem equally painful to me, except c-section less as long. But I think I'd rather do it "naturally" because c'mon, surgery isn't something you should do without needling to because it's pretty routine and safe but surgery is surgery and whatever birth sounds awful I'm not excited leave me alone. </3

So...what went down the night Rose was conceived? Any interesting positions? Fruit? Dirty talk? Details?
Did you use the Head Game position?
And NOW we've gone too far. You're welcome.
