No it's called not having crap on your desktop.

Icons on a desktop = useless and ugly. What's the point of wallpaper if you can't see it? Not to mention all the fancy shortcuts you can just use.

That's true, but not having icons on your desktop just because it looks cool isn't the reason to do it. Besides, you keep your windows maximized. You can see your wallpaper anyway.

My icons appear on the desktop as a convenient access place in a time that I frequently use them. When I no longer often need to use them, I shove them in one of the many folders to the left. It's really a very organized process.

meh, im bored enough... I dont care about Icons on my desktop because I'm constantly constantly moving them from one place to another / items only tend to remain there for a day or 2 adn then they're folderized
