The only time I didn't like VLC was before I Linux'd, when it wouldn't let me play MKV's.

It worked a treat in Linux, and back on Windorz, still does.

I had perfectly working subtitles with MKV's in VLC when I was on Linux... And I did for the longest time in Windows too, until a little while before I went Linicks.

And now, after Linux, subtitles are working fine as ever.

Is Miranda really good?
I have thought of trying it out, but I'm stubborn and like Trillian's set up too much.

And man, I went back to the first post of this topic, and geez, that feels like forever ago. I used BitComet, Aston Shell, Windows Media Player, and had cruddy anime wallpaper.

I tried to convert me to Miranda multiple times...as it seems to be more featureful and whatnot...but I always went back to Trillian.
And, since we're just way off topic anyways:
Anybody use Pidgin? I've really been disliking the new releases...the dev's seem to not care about what users want and instead just do whatever they want.

I still use pidgin, but mainly because it performs better than trillian (which is the only other messenger i can really stand, and i've tried miranda, etc).

And yeah, the devs do seem to be pulling the butthole route for no apparent reason. And some of the features they've changed are fairly stupid, too. but they haven't annoyed me to the point of not wanting to use it anymore.
