Alright, enough is enough. If I am to be harassed, I might as well make my own statement on the matter, being the ex-Leader of this so-called "Sanctuary".

Fate's "ban" from SF was a mistake, nor was it authorized by me. I will illustrate the conditions on how it happened: AFter I told Fate about the P.I.R.A.T.E. movement, he HAD willingly accepted to leave matters to my hands and my hands alone, withdrawing peacefully.

Until SOMEone decided to break the still air of what WAS a peaceable end to the matter and protest the issue--an issue that was, in reality, not really theirs to be concerned about. As such, Chaotix deleted the thread, and then locked a duplicate thread that was made. of course, /I/ was the one to whom the blame was placed almost IMMEDIATELY, even after I said multiple times that it was NOT me.

Then Fate found out.

Not only did he severely lecture ME, but he told me to ban Chaotix or he would do not one, but TWO actions that, to some, would amount to internet terrorism:

1) Send legions of "goons"--the Anonymous of the website somethingawful.com--to overload both this site AND the new forum being constructed uner Project Re:GENESIS, and

2) Release Chaotix's address (I'm not clear if he meant IP or real-life, but either one is just as bad) onto 4chan. 4CHAN.

Being the "pussy" that I am, I relented. I will not accept terrorism or threats, but I will also not shatter the community any more than it has been over the past year.

As such, during the course of this day, I have officially enacted my "Severance Act": you who Fate finds in favor may remain here, if you so choose, on Sanctuary Falls--but you will do so without any of my support, images, or serials. You shall find a way to survive and rebuild the little-to-no activity on here or face extinction by atrophy. As you can no doubt already tell, I have made this point clear by removing any of the images (to the best extent that I can) that have had anything to do with the old Sanctuary Falls, Echo Network, or any related works--banners, emoticons, the works. I have also deleted my account here, to ensure that it is as clean a schism as I can facilitate.

Those who wish to come to the new forum, now up and running as a working beta (the relevant forums are up, but there are no skins or custom images of yet), may do so freely. It is an open invitation to anyone and everyone: http://echofalls.co.cc/forums/index.php

Everyone except one, that is: I do sincerely wish we can remain friends outside of the internet that has poisoned our working relationship to such a point. I will no longer dispute any of this "P.I.R.A.T.E." nonsense--it was a stupid idea, and I realize now I should have simply come to you directly instead of skulking in shadows and skullduggery and the like.

But even so, I will not tolerate threats from ANYONE. Not anymore. If you say that "Hell is coming", then I say "let it come". I've worked far too hard to see my magnum opus realized to let it die now, least of all from some bullshit legal drama.

I am free to make my own choices, and learn and grow from them on my own.

I will be the one who changes the world.
