Check out the wiki for specs and general infos..

So have these been getting any news coverage over yr side of the pond? They've just started shipping and I'm quite tempted to try and get one so I can feel all 1337 h4x and shizzle.

Not sure what I'd do with it so I thought I'd see if you guys had any suggestions?

My only plan would be to try and get a LAMP configuration going (Linux, Apache, MySQL (or more likely SQLite), PHP5) and host a site on it. Hopefully it'll be able to run webmin and I can just keep it running in a cupboard and adminstrate it remotely. Will probably attach an external harddrive and use it as a fileserver too assuming the CPU isn't completely maxed out with Apache and everything else running.

I've never heard of this. But I want one. Since it's so cheap and neat.

Probably be better off with lighttpd, it's much lighter and better to set up imo. Though I don't see Apache being too much of a problem. I'd probably set up a server on it as well. Also, I think it saod Perl would be one of the default installations, so webmin should be a-go. 'Specially with the distro choices available.

Some tech sites have been talking about them, and I definitely want one just for the low price, even though I use a much more powerful (Ex-netbook) computer for anything I would do with a Pi. They are cool, though, and I wish they had existed when I was like 15.

Just purchased one. With a hdmi cable, 4gb SD card and power adapter it came to $75 (US) - but I think they're more expensive in England for some reason. (Just checked, $30 instead of the $25 widely publicized).

I've had mine a while now but I still haven't gotten round to doing anything with it yet. Think I might set it up as a mediaserver at some point.
