Have you seen that mummy sarcophagus looking thing? With the 4 ghost arms? I'm sorry, but that just made me want to buy this game so hard. That and smugleaf, the grass starter. I want more pokemon to be arrogant looking ass holes. And I'm being dead serious here. While I'm not too impressed with many of the pokemon here, there are enough that I find appealing to make me interested.

Part of the charm of the first gen came from the fact that the pokemon had to be designed to work with the limited hardware, and when you can only support 4 colors at one time on a sprite, you have to make do with what you got. With that said, I'm sure if they had the technology then that they have now, we'd be looking at an entirely different bulbasaur and charmander today.
